14 Early Black Friday Deals on iPads, Home Gear, and More

It's deals season. You can smell it in the air, wafting across the land—savings. Or maybe that's just lingering wildfire smoke and hurricane moisture, I don't know anymore. What I do know is that this year, Black Friday is looking more like Black November. There are already plenty of full-fledged holiday sales happening. We've rounded up some of our favorite early Black Friday deals, along with a list of retailer sales pages if you want to dig through the offerings on your own.

Phone and Tablet Deals

Check out our Best Tablets and Best Android Phones guides for more options.

  • Galaxy Note 10+ for $650 ($280 off): The Note 10+ is a great phone if you want to use a stylus with your Android phone. Samsung offers the best stylus experience, and it's still exceptional on this older model. (Check out the new Note 20 Ultra if you want the latest.) If you don't care for a stylus, there are better deals out there. Also, ignore Samsung’s bundles. You can buy the phone by itself for $650.

  • Moto G Power for $180 ($70 off): If you want a no-frills Android phone with three-day battery life, look no further than the Moto G Power. It also has a decent screen and solid performance; just know that the camera isn't the best. Read our review for more details.

  • Microsoft Surface Pro 7 for $650 ($280 off): This Surface Pro 7 is a good deal on a great hybrid tablet and laptop. This model has an Intel Core i5 processor, 8 gigabytes of RAM, and a 128-gigabyte SSD. It also comes with the Black Type Cover.

  • iPad Pro (12.9-Inch, 2020 model) for $1,000 ($100 off): This is a small deal—you're getting $100 off the 256-gigabyte model. It's an excellent iPad if you need the biggest screen possible, with wonderful speakers, a 120-Hz refresh rate, and fantastic performance. You might want to consider the new iPad Air though—it offers many of the same great features for less.

  • Ninja Chef CT800 for $89 ($70 off): I have not yet finished testing this Ninja Chef for our upcoming blender guide, but so far I am impressed, especially for this price. If you're looking to step up from your basic budget blender, this makes a great choice.

  • Apple AirPods Pro for $194 ($55 off): The AirPods Pro have been on sale a lot lately. They're great for iPhone owners (or if you use an iPad or MacBook too) since they pair almost instantly and can switch between Apple devices seamlessly. The sound quality is outstanding, and they have excellent active noise canceling. They're the first version of AirPods to have silicone ear tips, so they're much more comfortable than the non-Pro model, plus you can just plop them on a wireless charger to recharge.

  • Deebot 711S Robot Vacuum for $169 ($300 off): This is a good price on a robot vacuum. We haven't tested it yet, but it's getting good reviews elsewhere on the web.

  • Instant Pot Duo Nova 8-Quart pressure cooker for $70 ($50 off): Don't have an Instant Pot yet? Grab this one and jump on the pressure cooker bandwagon.

  • Garmin Forerunner 935 for $302 ($198 off): The Garmin Forerunner 935 is a lot like the 245 I'm wearing right now, but it has a touch screen and is geared more toward multi-sport enthusiasts. There's also a built-in barometer, altimeter, and electronic compass.

  • Xero Shoes Z-Trail for $40 ($40 off): The best shoes I've ever worn are on sale. The women's Z-Trail are also on sale for $40, as are many other Xero shoes. Barefoot shoes aren't for everyone, so be sure to read my take before you dive in with both feet.

  • Aukey FHD Webcam for $28 ($32 off): Use promo code 94VRFRCJ to see the discount at checkout. Webcams are tough to find these days, and often wildly overpriced due to high demand. WIRED senior associate editor Julian Chokkattu has been using this one for several months. The colors are a little muted, and the image quality is only OK, but it does the job if you can't find anything else for less.

  • Samsung 2-TB Portable SSD for $250 ($120 off): Need some extra storage space that won't take up half your kitchen table? This portable SSD from Samsung is plenty fast and makes a great way to back up your data. You are backing up your data, right?
